알림

무료 어플에 대한 소식을 조금 더 빨리 알고 싶다면 "연아와 트위터를"를 읽고 팔로하기 바란다. 트위터로는 글을 통해 소개하기 힘든 100명 한정, 한시간만 무료와 같을 어플도 올리기 때문이다. 마지막으로 트위터를 통한 질문에는 거의 답하지 않는다. 트위터를 이렇게 운영하는 이유는 "트위터 운영 노하우 및 팁"이라는 글을 보면 된다. 따라서 트위터로 질문하고 답이 없다고 서운해 하지 않았으면 한다. 질문을 하고 싶다면 반드시 블로그에 관련글을 찾아 올리거나 "도아의 QNA"를 이용하기 바란다.

어제는 총 5개의 어플을 올렸다. 그러나 건진 것이 없다는 댓글처럼 나 역시 건진 것이 없었다. 오늘은 총 9개의 어플을 소개하겠다. 그러나 의외로 오늘은 건질 것이 많다.

가장 먼저 소개하는 Mixero는 트위터(Twitter) 어플이다. 아도브 Air 기반의 데스크탑용 어플로 먼저 올라와 상당히 인기를 끈 어플이다. 이 어플의 가장 큰 특징은 팔로어(Follower)를 그룹화하고 그룹화된 팔로어를 중심으로 트위팅을 할 수 있다는 점이다. 원래 데스크탑용 어플은 베타 테스트에 참여해야지만 사용 가능하다. 그러나 앱 스토어(App Store)에서는 무료로 사용할 수 있다. 물론 기능은 데탑용에 비해 조금 떨어진다^[1].

두번째로 소개하는 어플은 Boxcar이다. 얼마 전까지 3불에 판매되다, 1불, 다시 무료로 제공되는 어플^[2]이다. 트위터 사용자에게는 상당히 유명한 어플로 트위터의 타임라인(Timeline), @, 비밀글(DM: Direct Message)을 아이팟 터치(iPod Touch)의 푸시 알림을 통해 확인할 수 있다. 지원하는 트위터 어플도 다양하고 자체내에 푸시된 메시지를 확인할 수 있는 기능도 있기 때문에 트위터 사용자는 꼭 내려받기 바란다.

세번재로 소개하는 LetMeKnow도 '아이팟 터치'나 '아이폰'(iPhone)의 푸시 알림을 이용하는 어플이다. Boxcar와의 차이점은 이 어플은 지원하는 푸시의 종류가 훨씬 다양하다는 점이다. 날씨, 웹 페이지, 서버 기동시간, Craigs 게시물, 유튜브(YouTube), 주식, 트위터, RSS 피드, Mail등 상당히 다양한 종류의 푸시를 지원한다. 주식에 관심이 있는 사람이라면 원하는 주식을 감시하는데에도 상당히 유용하다. 평상시 2불에 판매되는 어플로 30일간 무료로 제공된다.

1Shoot은 과거에 소개한 iVandar과 비슷한 사진 변형 어플로 보인다. 그런데 강제로 설치해서 사용해 보면 아닌 것 같다. 현재 무료로 제공되고 있으며, 3일 이내에 프로모션이 끝날 것이라고 한다. Decobot는 카메라가 있는 '아이폰'에서만 사용할 수 있는 어플이다. 확인해 보면 알 수 있겠지만 이 어플은 과거 유행한 스티커 사진을 찍어주는 어플이다. 아이폰 카메라로 사진을 찍은 뒤 스티커와 비슷한 형태로 만들어 준다. 평상시 2불에 판매되는 어플로 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공된다.

Klondike Battle은 따로 설명할 필요가 없는 어플이다. Klondike라는 카드 게임이다. 다만 Battle이라는 이름이 붙어있는 것으로 봐서 네트워크 플레이도 가능한 것 같다. 평상시 1불에 판매되는 어플로 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공된다. Dark Harvest는 물리학 기반 매치 게임이라고 한다. 두개의 게임 모드를 가지고 있으며 유해 가스를 구에 채워 하늘 위로 보내며 진행하는 게임으로 보인다. 평상시 3불에 판매되는 어플로 24시간 동안 무료로 제공된다.

Star Shower는 과거에 한번 소개한 적이 있는 슈팅 게임이다. 하늘에서 떨어지는 별을 새총으로 맞추는 아주 단순한 게임이다. 평상시 1불, 오늘 하루 동안 무료로 제공된다. Art Secure는 사진을 보안을 위해 알 수 없는 형식으로 바꾸는 어플이다. 평상시 1불에 판매되며, 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공된다.

Steady Mode
Point the phone and hold it steady until the photo is taken. Keep it steady if you want further photos of the same target. Move it after the photo is taken to change target. There is a "car mode" to use on the road leaving you phone in a stand.
Touch Mode
Point the phone and tap the screen to take the photo. Use a short and fast tap trying not to move the phone.
Timer Mode
Choose your time, 5 or 10 seconds, then put the phone in some safe and solid place, tap the screen to start the countdown and go to occupy your place in the picture. Photo is taken when the countdown finishes.
