원래 오늘은 총 10개의 어플을 소개하려고 했었다. 그런데 약 10불 정도하던 책 두권이 하루 사이에 원래의 가격으로 복구하는 바람에 총 8개의 어플을 소개한다. 다만 짧은 시간 동안 무료로 제공하는 어플은 트위터(Twitter)를 통해서만 알려 줄 수 있다. 따라서 짧은 시간 동안 무료로 제공되는 어플에 관심이 있다면 트위터 가이드를 읽고 나를 팔로하기 바란다.

먼저 Udder Chaos는 소를 납치해가는 외계 생명체로 부터 소를 보호하는 게임이다. 간단히 외계 생명체가 타고 있는 우주선을 톡톡치면 된다. 평상시 1불, 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공되며 게임을 설치한 뒤 아이팟 터치(iPod Touch)나 아이폰(iPhone)을 다시 부팅해야 한다. Tap Champion은 이전에 한번 소개한 게임 어플이다. 다만 내 아이팟 터치에는 설치가 되지 않아 정확히 어떤 게임 어플인지는 모른다. 평상시 1불, 7일간 무료로 제공된다.

Randy는 8불에 판매된 책이지만 어제 일시적으로 무료로 제공됐다. 또 Killing Me Softly by Nicci French는 평상시 10불에 판매된 책이지만 마찬가지로 어제 일시적으로 무료로 제공됐다. 다만 조금 아쉬운 점은 따로 오늘만 무료라는 설명이 없었고 생각 보다 빨리 유료로 바뀐 덕에 소개하지 못한 것이 조금 아쉽다.

Cubic Match도 게임 어플이다. 입체 테트리스 조각처럼 보이는 두개의 큐빅을 서로 맞추는 게임 어플이다. 아이들의 상상력을 자극하기에 적당한 어플로 보인다. 이런 게임을 자주하면 두뇌 발달에 상당한 도움을 준다. 따라서 아이를 가진 사람이라면 내려받기 바란다. 평상시 1불에 제공되며 제한된 11월 10일까지 무료로 제공된다. iYBGame은 오늘만 무료인 어플은 아니다. 언제까지 무료일지 모른다. 다만 이 게임은 우리나라의 설날 전통 놀이인 윳놀이를 아이팟 터치 어플로 만든 것이다. 우리나라 전통 놀이가 어플로 올라와 반가운 마음에 소개한다.

Smiles Zen - Solitaire Match Fun은 평상시 2불, 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공되는 게임 어플이다. 이모티콘처럼 생긴 귀여운 스마일을 맞추는 게임이다. iTweetQuote은 평상시 3불에 판매되는 트위터 어플이다. 어플의 이름과 그림을 보면 알 수 있지만 명언을 트위터로 보내는 어플이다. Shipwreck는 여러 대의 배를 서로 충돌하지 않도록 조종하는 게임 어플이다. 평상시 1불, 제한된 시간 동안 무료로 제공된다.

CallThemAll은 평상시 1불, 며칠 동안 무료로 제공되는 어플이다. 다만 내 아이팟 터치에는 설치가 되지 않았다. 설명을 보면 나라와 도시의 코드를 찾아 주는 어플로 보인다. 또 아이팟 터치에는 설치 되지 않아 우리나라를 지원하는지 여부는 확인하지 못했다. 물론 호환되지 않는 어플 설치하기를 이용하면 강제 설치도 가능하지만 관심이 없기 때문에 따로 설치하지는 않았다.

Once you think you have the right combination just press the match button at the bottom of the screen. If you are right they will merge together. If you’re not you have to try again until you get it right.

The pro version offers you 13 levels, ending up with 25 cubes to match.

For both versions you have three modes: Easy, Normal and Expert. Easy has the cubes colored so it makes them easier to match. In the normal mode the cubes all have the same look. As for the expert version the cubes and background change at every levels making it more and more challenging.
