요즘은 글이 잘 써지지 않는다. 어제는 두개의 글을 올렸지만 하나는 어찌보면 날로 먹는 무료 어플에 대한 소개이고 또 다른 하나도 거의 날로 먹을 수 있는 생수회사에 대한 소개다. 쓰고 싶은 글은 많은데 글이 잘 써지지 않는 것을 보면 침체기가 온 것 같다는 생각이 든다. 오늘의 첫글도 역시 날로 먹는 무료 어플에 대한 글이다.

다만 오늘은 오늘만 무료인 어플이 많지 않다. 총 두개다. 또 두개 모두 마이크를 필요로 하는 어플이라 정작 1세대 아이팟 터치(iPod Touch)에는 아예 설치가 되지 않았다. 따라서 어플에 대한 소개는 이름으로만 하겠다.

먼저 Star Search라는 어플은 별자리를 찾아 주는 어플이다. 얼마나 유용할지는 미지수 있다. 이 어플은 1불에서 제한된 시간 동안만 무료로 판매한다. Rationale - Make Rational Decisions는 의사 결정을 할 때 여러 가지 방법으로 도움을 주는 어플이다. 자세한 내용은 설명을 참조하기 바란다. 이 어플은 2불에서 역시 제한된 시간 동안만 무료로 판매하고 있다.

마지막으로 Landscape Tweeting! 2.3는 무료는 아니지만 2불에서 1불로 가격이 내린 기념으로 소개하는 어플이다. 현재 아이팟 터치에 깔려있는 [트위터]6 관련 어플은 총 4개다. 기능적으로 가장 뛰어난 Twittelator, 기능은 떨어지지만 깔끔한 사용자 환경과 모든 트윗 환경을 가로로 할 수 있는 Landscape Tweeting, 오프라인의 메모를 한번에 트위터에 올릴 수 있는 Tweet Memo, 트위터 타임라인에 올라온 트윗을 화면 보호기처럼 보여 주는 Twitter Time이다.

이중 Twitter Memo와 Twitter Time은 무료 어플로 올라왔을 때 구매했고, Landscape Tweeting!은 오늘 1불로 내려간 기념으로 구매했다. Landscape Tweeting!을 구매한 이유는 트위터(Twitter)를 사용할 때 주로 이 어플을 사용하기 때문이다. 일단 트윗 하나를 큰 화면으로 보여주며 옆으로 밀면 다음 트윗이 나타나기 때문에 작은 글씨로 타임라인을 탐색하는 것 보다는 이 방식이 트윗을 읽기 더 편하기 때문이다. 사용하고 있는 네개의 트위터 어플에 대한 조금 더 자세한 소개는 다른 글로 올릴 생각이다.

I got the idea for this app while star gazing at night in Arizona. I wondered what constellations I was looking at and wanted to be able to identify them.
